What is a Tribute Fund?
A Tribute Fund is an online giving page where you, your friends and family can share memories, photos and videos of a loved one whilst raising life changing funds.

How do I donate to a Tribute Fund?
We've aimed to make donating to a Tribute Fund as easy as possible. You don't need to set up an account to make a donation. All you need to do is click 'Donate' on the right hand side of your loved one's Tribute Fund and then enter your details. Donations can be made by card or PayPal. You can also make a donation over the phone by calling our Supporter Care Team on 0300 3300 740.

Why create a Tribute Fund?
Whether you lost your loved one to stroke suddenly, or after a period where stroke changed the life you shared together, we understand how painful it can be. We know that many people find comfort in creating a Tribute Fund and celebrating the life of a loved one.

How do I set up a Tribute Fund?
Setting up a tribute fund is simple and only takes a few minutes. You can get started here.

Do I need to pay a fee to set up a fund?
No – our tribute funds are free to set up.

Do I need to set a fundraising target?
It’s completely up to you. Many choose not to. However, if you have a target in mind you are very welcome to add a target on your fund.

Can I add money raised offline to my fund?
Yes, you can add money raised offline onto your fund.

How do I send your offline donations?

When possible, please make donations or pay in fundraising money online. At this current time, the processing of any donations made by post will be delayed.

Please send donations, along with a covering letter explaining they are to be added as offline donations to your Tribute Fund, to our Supporter Care Team at the following address:

Can I add fundraising events to my page?
Yes. You, your friends and family can set up event pages on your Tribute Fund. Find out how to do so by click on the 'Find an event' button below.

Can I add Gift Aid to my donations?
Of course. Gift Aid enables us to claim back 25p from HMRC for every £1 donated, helping your donation go further at no cost to yourself or to the Stroke Association.

How does the money raised from my Tribute Fund get spent?
All of the money raised on your Tribute Fund is spent on stroke support, research and awareness. You can read the full breakdown of how we spend our money here.

Can I update my Tribute Fund at a later point?
Yes – you can update your Tribute Fund at any point. Once you’re logged into your account you can change your page information and add photos or videos as and when you wish. You can also update your target and personal details at any point.

Is there someone from the Stroke Association I can talk to about my fund?
